The setting: Oriental Pearl Restaurant (famous for dim sum), 6:45 pm on Christmas.
The expectation: Jammed with Jews like us, lining up to chow down after a movie.
The reality: The place is empty. Seriously empty.
A couple of Asian families with kids, and a handful of gringoes like us.
The reason: Not merely snow, but fluffly snow that was actually sticking.
The waiter: "Chinese people scared to drive in snow."
That's not snow! Come to Brooklyn, 25" in front of my house and Mern is in Hanoi so she is no help, and teenage son just woke up and said that he isn't up to shoveling just yet (I finished shoveling 2 hours ago)

I really like to know about Oriental Pearl Restaurant. I like to see snow fall in this post. It is very nice to see cloudy weather in this picture. Such a nice post!
