Yes, I'm in thrall to Royals...can't get enough of them or their crazy fam. So I had to post about first ever portrait of princes Harry and William which has been unveiled in London. It's by artist Nicky Phillips and is now hanging at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Phillips said she wanted to emphasize their "brotherly" relationship.
"They were very good company and although I was commissioned to paint them in their official context, I hope I have also captured some of the brotherly banter that characterised the sittings," she said.
Prince Harry, 25 the youngest son of heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles and the late princess Diana, is shown seated and in conversation with his brother, who stands in a doorway on the right of the painting.
Both wear the uniform of the Household Cavalry, in which Prince William, now 27, was a lieutenant at the time of the sittings from August to December 2008.
I actually think there's a weird distance between them in this portrait, though they are surely hunky and adorable looking. What do you think Diana would say?
