We're in! We're exhausted. And at the moment we have no hot water because the last thing I was up for at 7:00 AM this morning was playing with the thermostat on the hot water heater, so I drove back to 1400 and took a shower. But the house is adorable and full of character and the tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and herbs are already thriving. It's going to be great and we're feeling giddy.
Kudos to the amazing crew of Chandler Moving and Storage who outloaded the old house in under 3 hours and moved everything into the new house in under two hours. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Atlanta area needing professional movers.
Gabe and I are off to New York this weekend to celebrate my mom's 85th birthday and Sam's graduation. We'll return to Cardboard Box Land and start sorting and unpacking next week. In the immortal words of Scarlett O'Hara, "I'll think about it in the mornin'."
Mazal Tov! It must be wonderful to be in your new home.
